The weekend is coming to a close and I have to say this has been the most rewarding and challenging weekend of performances ever. We have been working in over 100 degree heat in a theater with no air conditioning while wearing heavy wool costumes. But we pushed through and turned out some amazing work for our dedicated audience. 8 more shows to go and much cooler temperatures predicted! Come and check it out.
It is true what they say, "when one door closes, another one opens." I got called for a commercial audition for the same casting director that called me back two weeks ago. It was for a young mom, neighbor, Geogian every-gal. I know I would have booked it, but the shoot dates conflicted with my performance dates for Macbeth. I had to pass. That conversation happened with my agent on my way to a callback for Woyzeck with Tin Lilly. Well, I did book that! Rehearsals start mid-August. I feel very satisfied and very grateful. Thanks universe.
Amazing rehearsal for Macbeth. The director, Mark Harborth, is such a fantastic story teller. I have never worked with anyone like him. Totally come and check it out if you get a chance. Great fight sequences and some truly amazing performances. A very different Macbeth than I have seen before.
... meticulous and scatter brained.
